Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch and Jayma Mays are also back. As well as Chord Overstreet rumored to be returning as a series regular.

Of course, broadening the scope of the show means it’s time to bring in new characters — and “Glee” bosses have put out a casting call for three new series regulars. (No word yet on whether established recurring guest stars like Chord Overstreet and Vanessa Lengies will be upgraded to series regular status.)

The first newbie they’re looking for is a male character in the early- to mid-twenties age range. Since he’s obviously too old for McKinley, we’re guessing he’ll come into play for one of the graduating characters. Needless to say, they’re looking for an actor who is also a fantastic singer.

Back at McKinley, a sixteen-year-old girl will be joining as a regular. The only requirements on the casting call? She’s got to be “pretty” — and she’s got to be able to sing.

The most intriguing fresh face, however, is Noah Puckerman’s 16-year-old younger brother. They’re looking for someone who is not only good looking and resembles Mark Salling, but who can play the guitar — just like big bro! Of course, we haven’t heard Puck mention his brother before, just a sister, so the dynamic between the Puckerman boys is anyone’s guess.

Sanchez, who finished second behind Phillips Phillips, is expected to appear on the Fox hit midway through its upcoming fourth season; no details regarding her character, however, have been announced. She will most likely start following Idol’s summer concert tour.

Sanchez isn’t the only big name signed on for a guest role for this season, with both Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson also joining the show for small arcs.

• Season 4 will be split between McKinley and New York
• We know Rachel got into NYADA. Kurt didn’t, however Sarah Jessica Parker is rumoured to playing his mentor in season 4. One way or another it looks like Kurt will somehow make it to New York.

To the surprise of no one, Fox has renewed the quirky musical drama “Glee” and the quirky sitcom “New Girl” for another reason.

Lohan would play herself on the Fox hit, as a celebrity judge for the Nationals competition.

The “View” host will play a NYADA professor who oversees Rachel and Kurt’s audition.

The View co-host will play Carmen Tibideaux, a theatre veteran and professor at the New York school that Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) have applied to.

GLAAD announced today that Glee stars Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith will serve as hosts in New York on March 24!

The 23rd annual award ceremony will also have a portion in San Francisco on June 2, to be hosted by their costar, Dianna Agron.

The GLAAD Media Awards aims to raise money to fund the organization and to help bring LGBT awareness and issues to American public.

Thomas Calabro has been cast as Puck’s (Mark Salling) father.

According to TVLine.com, Mr. Puckerman will return to Puck’s life in episode 18, which is scheduled to run in April (in the US).

This new character is in his 40s, and his life is in shambles. He dropped out of high school, left his wife and hasn’t paid child support in a long time.

Word on the street is he might stick around for a while.

Glee is currently shooting a tribute episode to Whitney Houston that will include eight songs from the late great musical icon.

Unlike the previous tribute last month (Amber Riley performed “I Will Always Love You” and producers added in a dedication card), this Whitney episode was planned after Houston’s death, and according to a reliable show source, will “not be a typical tribute”…

“It’s using Whitney’s music as a way to say goodbye,” the source reveals. “A way to respectfully say thank you for her music.” It will be unlike the show’s Madonna and Michael Jackson episodes, the Whitney tribute is more of a “character piece” that focuses on Glee’s graduating seniors having a real hard time letting go.

Earlier today, Lea Michele herself tweeted: “Starting a new episode today. A very special tribute to one of the worlds most amazing singers. Very excited about this one.”

It looks like we won’t be seeing the Glee cast in Australia on any official visits with the announcement of no Glee live tour in 2012.

The Glee cast will not tour this year, “We currently have no plans of touring the cast this summer,” a spokesman for show’s studio, Twentieth Century Fox Television, said.

Following a 2011 tour that grossed a reported $40.85 million, the show’s organizers are now aiming to stage a charity concert at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl later this year. Proceeds from the gig would benefit the “Glee” Give a Note campaign, which supports music education programs in schools.

Sources contacted by Billboard indicate that the show’s co-creator and executive producer, Ryan Murphy, is very keen on making the Bowl show happen and is a firm supporter of the Give a Note Foundation. Possible concert dates have already been discussed, but it’s still early on in the planning process. If the concert is booked for a weekend night after the Bowl’s busy summer season — which seems the most likely scenario — the earliest it could happen would be in September.

As early as a week ago, sources say the “Glee” cast’s summer tour plans were still up in the air. While the ensemble had hit the road both in 2010 and 2011, it was at the cost of sacrificing much of the actors’ summer hiatus from the show. And getting that break in 2012 was essential. Murphy — along with the rest of the parties involved — wanted to ensure the cast was happy and had the ability to pursue other non-”Glee” projects (film or otherwise) over the summer.

The 2011 “Glee Live! In Concert” tour ranked as the No. 16 biggest tour of the year according to Billboard BoxScore. It grossed a reported $40.85 million from 40 sell-out shows (out of 40 total dates). Total attendance numbered 485,852.

Today our girl turns 25.

She was Born on this day in 1986 in Los Angeles California. She Auditioned for American Idol in its second season but was turned down by its producers!

Clearly they didnt know what they were doing because she is a star.

Known for her attitude and her big voice Mercedes Jones has been an awesome member of New Directions and hopefully continue to be a part of the show.

Also rumor has it that Amber is working on her first studio album! so be on the watch for that!

Yesterday Lea Michele tweeted that she would be a guest mentor on Oxygen’s upcoming second season premiere of The Glee Project.

It seems that Lea has already filmed her appearance on The Glee Project, according to her tweets:

Lea Michele and Martin go way back. Like childhood-style. She tweeted: “I’ve known Ricky since I’m 8 years old! He was in Les Mis on Broadway with me in 1996! Crazy huh?!”

You might say it’s “livin’ la vida loca,” right? Yes, that was a lame Ricky Martin joke. Just let it happen.

Martin will be guest starring on Glee as the gang’s Spanish teacher, and yes, he’ll be shaking his bon bon and singing.

A confirmed song that Kurt will sing in this episode to Blaine is Michael Jackson’s earlier number “Ben” a little confusing as the song is for a killer rat in a TV show however the lyrics fit well if you know the song and it kind of makes sense to put it in this scene.

For 90 minutes, Glee fans get to get up close and personal via director Kevin Tancharoen‘s vision for Glee: The Concert Movie.

The format of this DVD (or Blu-Ray) may seem unusual at first. This was the Glee concert performed at the Ozod Center in New Jersey, in June 2011. And though there is no plot within the framework of the TV show, everyone is in their TV show character persona’s for the entire show. If you think too hard about it, (why would small town kids from Ohio who didn’t even make it big at regional’s be having this huge concert, with all of these fans and security?) your brain will start to hurt. Because here’s the most important thing: it doesn’t make sense. Once you let go of that, you can simply enjoy it.

As one Glee fan to another, we all know that the point of the show is not about over-analyzing inconsistencies, it’s about experiencing joy. Or, dare I say it, glee! What you get on this disc are full-songs (“Sing” “River Deep, Mountain High” “Born This Way”) with their performances that are mixed in with short interviews of Glee fans, and with the members of the Glee club.

For those who turn a cold shoulder to the idea of a feel good movie that may not have as much emotional depth as glossy joy, Glee The Concert Movie will be completely missable. For for those Glee fans who have been gung-ho about embracing the series, its’ positive messages and outlook as a way of life – this will be one more piece to the big, priceless picture.

Our favourite football coach Dot-marie Jones is throwing her support behind a new book aimed to put an end to bullying.

Dot admits she was inspired to help the cause because she was teased about her height as a youngster.

She tells People.com, “I grew really fast… seven inches in six months. Kids would say comments like, ‘You’re so tall, you should have been a man. Are you a man? Are you a woman?’ It still strikes a nerve. Kids don’t realise how powerful words are.”

Just Like You tells the story of a deaf field mouse and a disabled spider who become friends and stick together.

Jones adds, “It doesn’t matter what your differences are. You have to embrace what your likenesses are, and that we’re all just like you.”

One hundred per cent of the book’s proceeds will be donated to foundations benefiting people with disabilities.

Here’s a first look at Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes in her guest role as McKinley High’s synchronized swim coach. She’s standing chest to chest with her newest team member, Sam (Chord Overstreet).Lucky woman. Sam joins the team as part of his effort to win back his former girlfriend, Mercedes (Amber Riley). “He’s trying to get on a school team so he has a little bit more popularity,” Overstreet said. “The popularity thing is a route that he is trying to explore to see if that helps, but she’s not interested in him because she’s got that big bad boyfriend.” Well, Mercedes can’t ignore those rippling pectorals forever.

We already knew that the Warblers would be making an appearance during this 11th episode of season three. But now we get to know the premise for their inclusion in “Michael.”

“New Directions battles the Dalton Warblers and their devious new leader for the right to perform a Michael Jackson song at Regionals; Rachel struggles with a weighty decision.”

What song will the Warblers choose to compete against New Directions? The cast, led by the Warblers, just filmed “BAD” last week in a parking garage in California. It is safe to say that this will be the showdown performance between the two glee clubs.

In addition to “BAD,” expect to see a battle between lead Warbler Sebastian and Santana. They will face off with a dueling cello performance of “Smooth Criminal.”

ON screen, the students at William McKinley High School look like they’re having a ball – but are they really?

Rumours swirling about the set suggest the cast are locked in a battle with the show’s creator and executive-producer Ryan Murphy.

US Weekly reported an unnamed source close to the set as saying the cast are unhappy with 16-hour working days, frustrated they don’t get any money from the show’s iTunes sales and the source alleges that Murphy threatened to fire one of star Lea Michele’s friends in the cast after he learned she didn’t want to appear on the cast’s multi-city US tour.

“Things are really bad on the set,” the insider was quoted as saying. “The cast talks about how much they love Ryan, but they have grown to hate him.”

However, the cast has dismissed the claims, with Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel, calling them nothing more than “rumours”.

“It’s people trying to create a story,” he said last week.

“I assure you that’s all that it is. Really, it’s not true.”

Actress Naya Rivera, who plays lesbian character Santana in the series, took to Twitter. “The malicious things being written about Ryan Murphy are so sad and false. I’m proud to work for such a talented man!”

In other Glee news, Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin will join the cast for a Latino-themed episode in the New Year.

Estefan will play Santana’s mother and Martin will play a Spanish teacher. The Livin’ la Vida Loca singer is expected to have a recurring role.

People from all countries and all ages are starting to use their writing skills on Fictional Characters that are allowed on free websites such as “FanFiction.net” – One of the most common used sites; which I believe is a good thing as we are expressing ourselves and developing our imaginations!

Yeah we also do get headaches from long hours of reading online.. and that’s why it would be a good idea to put these creative skills into a novel of short stories.

Wouldn’t you like to be able to read your favourite characters or shippers such as “Klaine,” or “Brittanna”, “Finchel?” anywhere and bring the books back to life?

The internet is great and all, but for our eyes it can be a painful process, there are great authors out there and being desperate fangirls, it would be much more accessible on the bookshelves and would get kids to read more.

So wouldn’t it be a great idea if we got people’s amazing ideas put together? Like for instance we could have CP COULTER, one of our famous Writers for the series “Dalton” – Based on the Glee Dalton Academy Warblers on FanFiction.net – or “BeautifulWhatsYourHurry” For her Heart reaching “Klaine” Series – “Swingsets and Sandboxes” Based on the gay couple Kurt and Blaine (Chris Colfer, and Darren Criss) of glee, but with a twist on how it would have happened if they met at a younger age.

It would certainly be a new level to writers and I definitely don’t discourage people from writing fan fiction. People may not understand why we do it, but the point is to get away from reality just for a while. The world can be cruel and harsh, and without it, some of us might not have joy left in us.

The point is to enjoy the spark of hope that the characters we play with may actually happen in real life. It never hurt to dream and it never hurt to read.

Nothing is impossible.

After all Kurt lost pretty much everything he was living for except his family. His career isn’t looking good which is important for him and Blaine is his other half of his heart; do you think he was going to let Sebastian make him lose that too?

He has been promoted to a series Regular and has been a great addition to the cast of Glee. Playing the somewhat awkward father of Kurt Hummel, Step father to Finn Hudson and husband of Carol Hudson.

His Story was explained in greater detail in Season 2 episode 3 “Grilled Cheesus” when he suffers from a heart attack and is in a coma for several days. He is a loving father not only to his son Kurt but also to his stepson Finn and is often a pillar of support for the both of them.

We can only hope that the Creators of the show will show us more of this amazing character as he has become one of my favorite Characters.
